I understand ONE PATH to be equivalent to ONE BRIDGE. But how people walk to that bridge is but personal to them and only God knows what struggles are in their mind and heart. Most faiths seek truth. Truth is also an equivalent to the ONE PATH. It's like they are looking for truth but don't even know that it leads to Christ the Bridge...
At least that's how I understand it.

dude, you can't be a christian wiccan... you just can't. It's one or the other, you can't believe in christ and also in withcraft, he said he was one and only, all others are false, blah blah blah. You cannot be a true christian without accepting Jesus wholehearetdly.

Just a little info here on Wicca. There are many different kinds of Wiccans who follow different pantheons. Pantheons are based in different mythologies...be it Celtic, Egyptian, Norse, Greek, Roman, and so on. Christianity, I'm sorry to say, is just another mythology with its own pantheon. God(Father), Holy Spirit(Mother), Jesus(son of God), Angels (minor gods and goddesses) and etc, etc. So for the purpose of worship one can use the Christian pantheon in their Wiccan rituals and worship. If that's what rings most true for someone then who is anyone else to decide it doesn't work?

Is Pantheons centered around "what works for me". Cause I don't believe that is what Christianity is about. We'll have to disagree.

victor, you are right! why walk two paths when one would suffice! i am walking one path, it just doesn't have a name - so for now, it shall be called christian wiccan because that best sums up what it is


nutshell:

What if God (who does love each and everyone of us), in his infinite wisdom, provided a way that all people that ever were, are, and will be would have the opportunity to accept Christ?

what this is saying is that everyone knows of christ in a religious sense, and those who don't follow christian tradition are ignorant of truth - making this a justification for casting out people who are not christian - you are saying "this is the only way, and you've had a chance, so don't complain its too hot down there" - and i don't agree with it

joeboonda's post pretty much sums up the dogma in christendom that i now recognise and detest

A pantheon is a set of gods/deities and such that a religion is based upon. The old Celts had their religious beliefs based on certain gods, the Norse peoples, the Egyptians, and so on. A pantheon is simply that. So therefore the revered ones of Christianity count as a pantheon as well. As a matter of fact they have many of the same archetypes of many older pagan religions anyway.
