Why is the woman's chest such an issue? We see topless guys parading around, and it is legal to do so. (And makes the girls happy)..but if a female goes topless in the street,
it's indecent exposure and other women aren't happy.

In G rated shows why can a male go topless and not a female?

I don't know if you have noticed, Malus, but their chests are different from ours.......

Seriously ? Maybe for the same reason that for a woman to walk down the street in her underwear would be a big 'nono', but if she does it on a beach, it's o.k. It's also OK to go topless on a beach.

I don't know - you tell me. Born in Africa, all the women were topless; I personally find the whole subject a bit strage, but then I guess I would, not being human.

Well, topless on a beach in the US is NOT OK, unless the beach is restricted, and posted as nude/semi-nude.

My guess? First, women's breasts are a far more obvious secondary sexual characteristic than a man's chest is; and second, we are really not that far removed in time from a world in which virtually all societies were patriarchal, and women were second class citizens at best. As such, their freedoms would obviously be more proscribed than mens' were. Many such societies still exist today, do they not?

I think its weird that anything to do with babies on the body are classed as 'private parts' but as soon as you get pregnant, everyone want to touch your stomach, lol. Just a thought. The reason why is because thats the way the world is at the moment, lol, if you go back say 50 years seeing a womans leg was out of the question. Also in other cultures you are not allowed to see womens faces, (I dont know how they cope in the summer, I feel for them, lol). Oh, I just though of somthing else, how much TV has changed towards nudity and sex, 10 years ago they would never have dreamed about putting stuff on the TV thats on now at like 6pm (Mainly the music channels).

I heard there was a new law comming out that said men when they are working (like builders) have to keep there shirts on, I think it was beause of skin cancer...
