First off, let me say that this is not aimed at anybody in particular, but I was interested as to whether anybody thought Freud had made an astute observation or not. I will qualify this by stating that his opinion was probably based on a small section of well heeled Vienese society.
" I have found little that is good about human beings on the whole. In my experience, most of them are Trash". Sigmund Freud: Psychoanalysis and Faith, P61-62. Or is it simply an indictement of the Upper Classes everywhere ? Cheers Kowalski |

A Fruedian slip is when you say one thing and mean your mother.

I think there is some merit to the statement. Everyone has a price, when you negotiate the price for the deed then you can see what Freud was talking about.
