My username is my middle name. My first name is John. I've used it as a handle and a nickname for a long time now. It's uncommon so I like it. I've heard there is an Ormiston (town/city) in Australia too.

I´ve called myself Jamaesi for as long as I can remember.
So I use it everywhere. Most people, online and off, call me Jamaesi or Pookie- not my real name, Blair.

Solon, Ancient Greek law maker and Politician, known for his wisdom. Reputedly travelled to Egypt, where he was said to have learnt the myth of Atlantis from Egyptian priests. Personally, I think Plato made all that up, as the Atlantis Myth is clearly a piece of Platonic Philosophy dressed up as a real story and delivered in the usual style of a dialogue. The target of Plato's yarn being the Athen's of Pericles, an Imperialistic State.

On one of the first forums I joined I wanted to use the name Yami Bakura. It was already taken so I changed it to YamiB. I got accustomed to it and now I use it as my most common alias.

Mine's the name of my patron saint, St. James the Persian, who was martyred by being dismembered alive after his wife gave him a kick to retur to the faith he had apostasized from in exchange for political favours. As my wife gave me the boot I needed to stop talking about converting and actually do it, he seemed an appropriate saint to pick for my Chrismation - and his feast day being the day after my birthday was a bonus. Two days of celebration back to back!
James

It's my Holy Name, it came to me in a dream, sounded cool, so I kept it.
