Very interesting step forward, although it's a basic combination of a burgalar alarm and answering machine ( sadly no cooking ) . I like the fact it will be able to recognise people, I wonder how long it will be until true free thinking machines appear, at least there will be a use for that robotic skin then.

Just as long as it has no possible way to think for itself. The last thing I would want is to spend 14,000 on a robot, have it turn on me, and then I have no choice but to fix the problem using a sledgehammer.
