I happed to have "ZoneAlarm", the anti-spyware-type program I use, turned off while I was here on RF. Suddenly, the animated gifs were dancing again!
![]() Unfortunately, now they're not dancing, because I turned ZA back on... *sigh* Hopefully, I'll figure out how to keep it from affecting the other. Just thought I'd let everyone who was kind enough to try to help with the problem know that I'd figured out what was wrong. And now, not having to worry about the tech-guys viewing my screen, I can go back to having the picture of Viggo Mortensen menacing poor Billy Boyd as my wall paper again! *evil laugh* Mwhahahahahahahaaaa!

That pic cracks me up.I had my hard drive "die" (it had, but it hadn't...but then a week later it did for real), so I took it in to the store where I bought it for them to look at it...totally forgetting that my desktop wallpaper was a pic of a lady in a bubblebath. I don't know who was more embarassed when the tech pulled me round the desk to show me my pooter was working, and I saw who was on the screen...

Ooo, yes! The tongue pic. *sad sigh* I certainly hope that the tech guy's opinion of the Uber-Manly King of Gondor wasn't sullied.
Poor Bastet! I'm sorry you had something so similar happen to you! Also, I got the thing working again by uninstalling ZA and then re-installing it. *happy dance* Now the internet looks all happily busy again!
