I'm guessing that's not the whole story, something must have happened to cause an inbalance, & thereby cause an increase in numbers of the porcupines. Or maybe they've just been planning this for a very long time. Imagine this...

Porcupine #1 - Let's invade
Porcupine #2 - Why?
Porcupine #1 - Because they're not expecting it

As long as they're growing out instead of being shoved in, she should be fine. Yes, I think our Feathers - or Quills, as we've just discovered - is a bit of a dark horse.

Or porcupine, as the case may be.
