Default Mark Ryden

www.markryden.com

He's a leader in contemporary art - at least, I consider him to be. Only time tells!

There are a lot of similarities to Kahlo in the blood and guts imagery, and some non-sexual nudity. Once you get past the rather startling images, there are some pretty deep statements on society. This one, for example: http://www.markryden.com/paintings/index.html

I think it's just something that even if you don't like, you should see at least once.

Anyone else have some interesting things they want to share, that they think other people should see?

EDIT: and note his fascinating Jesus imagery! He has Jesus in many of his works, like this one http://www.markryden.com/paintings/index.html
