Universal Mind or Consciousness is very "New Thought" (not to be confused with New Age). Sometimes it might be referred to as Christ Consciousness, but for some that term begins to co-opt to much of Christianity.

Heh, my facebook page and e-mail just get flooded with attempts to "save my soul" and to show me the "error of my ways".

Ahh, the joy of being a convert to Judaism in a family of evangelical Baptists......
Luckily, most of them are in Missouri, so we don't actually see each other very often.

I don't think the super consciousness is a deity, I think deities are to use the word- creatures, albeit creatures beyond us. When I say super consciousness I mean the body of the universe with all things part of it, and that just maybe the universe has a kind of consciousness created by the phenomena of all our thoughts and the thoughts of the gods and the animals. Any creature of some awareness or intelligence.

Sounds very pantheistic, or panentheistic depending how you fold the space/time continuum.
