I'm trying to write an essay to be admited to a two week physics camp open to only 25 people in Canada.
Any ideas on what to write? It should be close to a theoretical physics topic.

If you really want to impress them, run out and rent, "What the Bleep Do We Know" from a video store or you can rent it by mail at www.netflix.com Bear in mind there is addition info on the reverse side of the disc that is not indicated anywhere on it's wrapping. The scientists who contributed to the movienhave many books out, many of them on Quantum physics. Read them. The feild of Quantum physics is turning standard physics on it's head and is commonly understood to be the most important feild of scientific study to date. If you want to knock their socks off and get in for sure. Write a great paper about Quantum Physics. And of course it is the most theoretical realm of physics. It might even be a test to see if when offered that assignment, an aspect of theoretical physics, if you choose the most lively, public and current feild. |
