I guess it depends on what your goals are. If your goals are to earn as much money as you possibly can then sure. If your goal is to LOVE as much as you can, then no.

To be safe, you will need money, in human society. Thus, it is important to gain money, to be secure in meeting your physiological needs, therefore allowing yourself to work on love and belongingness needs.
