Most people know him as the head of the genome project.

Also, those familiar with religious debate probably know his debates with Richard Dawkins and others...

He is uniquely a gifted scientist, and medical doctor, and also a believer in God.

For those that are familiar with him, do you have a negative attitude towards him and if so, why? After listening to him, while he may be wrong, he seems sincere and open minded about many things. Mostly he seems concerned about having dialog about God and science.
