I had a friend who said she had out of body experiences. Some think we can visit other galaxies. Have you had one or has a friend had this experience?

Yes, I have friend who have. I believe it's possible under very specific circumstances.

I have had a couple out of body experiences. But I was too busy enjoying the sight of myself in bed that I didn't think about traveling to other galaxies. Do I think that is possible? Perhaps, but I don't think it's very probable.

I did that...I was looking down at myself laying in bed. Very freaky. Took me a while to work out why the perspective I was looing from seemed all wrong.

My dad has them every so often. He said they are the creepiest feelings. Usually during something he does all the time. Has to do with repetition he tells me.
I have never had one, but I had terrible night terrors until I was about 5 or 6. My one friend had them even later than that. I would wake up somewhere completely in a different part of the house screaming. Same happened to the friend. Although I do not recall what these visions were, I remember they seemed so real. My friend thinks they are from his past life memories. I think he believes in reincarnation. I will be on break in a few weeks for Easter. I will try to meditate and interpret some of my dreams. Those sometimes feel like out of body experiences. So real. Makes me wonder if any hold some meaning!?

A while back I experimented with out of body experiences. After several months of following instructions I had several very strange episodes, although I am not sure if they were technically OBEs. One was very positive, and another was negative. In the negative one I was fairly certain I interacted with a series of wicked spirits of some kind. I say this because it is difficult for me to believe the vivid and detailed images I saw were manufactured in my head, but I am open to that possibility. It could have been a lucid dream.
Anyway, as a Christian, this sort of thing does not hold any interest for me anymore. Last edited by Nick Soapdish; 03-01-2005 at 12:53 AM. Reason: Clarification |
