Anyone watch Peter Jennings tonight? Many believe we have been visited. Do you think we have been visited?

Yes I do. My mom saw one when she was little. And I have this tiny habit of trusting her.
She saw it with a friend too, and they both still to this day hold to their story.

Well, strangely I believe in UFO. If you think there are hundreds of millions (if not billions or trillions) of planets, one of them (or many of them) are bound to support life. They could be millions to billions of years ahead of us in technology.

My parents were convinced that they saw something that could not be explained in the African sky in 1948.
As there was little electric lighting, and few cars, it was unlikely that the bright multicoloured light that they saw crossing the sky on the horizon could be explained apart fom a) some freak weather 'event' or b) U.F.O; being open minded but not foolish folk, they always kept an open mind on that one. Which reminds me of an amuzing story I had been told by Dad about electric lighting in the village where I was born. Electricity was produced by my father's Railway company (The one he worked for, I mean!!!). As they only had two generators ( one set aside as a back up), the belt that drove the generator from the enormous steam engine had to be made in Switzerland (It was a leather belt, some 30 metres in circumference). The belt often snapped, and when it snapped, it would take the corrugated iron roof with it as if that were a sheet of paper. The company's rules were that electricity was to be provided from 06.00 until 21.00 - the only exception for keeping the availability of electicity beyond the 21.00 deadline was in the case of an expected and immanent birth. So every time someone decided to 'throw a party', one of the white women would have to claim to be having labour pains........ They never were found out. ![]()

As for being visited by aliens, i've personally seen two 'objects' in the sky on, separate occasions, that i can't explain but i don't necessarily know they were alien spacecraft. In fact due to the distances between the stars, its more likely they are time-travellers or interdimensional travellers than interstellar travellers, even more likely though that they are weather anomalies or classified military air/spacecraft.
