I wonder what would happen in this field of research if we were to draw a line, perhaps a step or two beyond this point and say, "That's it we go no farther", allowing researchers globally to open the door and rush in. What would be solved in 50 years, that under the current climate (of severly limiting stem cell research) would take up to tens times longer or more. Of course my figures are based on nothing but I think you get my drift. Even if it was say just for fifty years, then pull back to current levels of stem cell research and stem cell harvesting.
