Is anyone here familiar with Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences? Gardner posits that humans do not have one single type of intelligence, but instead have several kinds of intelligence. For instance: There is a ratio-mathematical intelligence that is distinct from an athletic intelligence. In all, Gardner has identified about eight different kinds of intelligence.
I think his work is potentially as revolutionary as the discovery of evolution. Comments?
