This sounds like an explanation for the motivations of God with Moses when God wants to destroy all of the Hebrews and start over with Moses family line only but then Moses talks God out of it stating it would make him look bad in the worlds eyes to break His promises and commandments.

That stuff is so vauge as to apply to millions of people. Reminds me of an ex roomate of mine...

Back in college, I had a roomate who used Tarot cards to pick up women. He'd go to a bar with his cards, and offer to read the fortune of any woman that caught his eye. Inevitably, part of the woman's fortune was "you have been wounded in love." Nine times out of ten, he said, that line got a "Wow! How did you know?" response. Seems like many of those women didn't realize that being wounded in love was a pretty common experience.
