Data is an awesome character don't get me wrong but when it comes to the looks factor Q will win anytime. Plus he could turn Data into a pile of scrap metal with a snap of his fingers.

Tough call, but I chose Trek. I considered the whole body of work for both legends. When the whole is considered, I think Trek has the edge. If we were to vote on the single best work, then I think Wars would have the edge. Close call.
Live long and prosper. And what's the deal with all the Star Wars and Star Trek avatars??? Everyone's gone geek while I've been gone! ![]() |

Star Wars. I don't even see a debate. SW has lightsabers, space stations that can destroy entire planets, little green muppets, Wookies, Sith, Darth Vader, General Grievous, Boba Fett, and Yoda. Need I say more?

Sci-fi has done so much better since the relics of Star Trek and Star Wars.
Firefly, Farscape, Babylon 5, the new Battlestar Galactica...

Now that's the REAL problem here isn't it? They HAD space stations that could destroy entire planets! HAD, as in past tense. Those pathetic rebels just got jealous, I tell you. They just couldn't stand it that the empire was so much stronger them they were so they just HAD to destroy it. Them and their "Forcier than thou" attitude. Let them create their OWN WMOD!!! It's enough to make a clone sick! I bet they drink Pabst Lite in one of those trendy Space Bars and fancy themselves guardians of the truth.

Let's not forget Dune the original movie. It ranks way up there.
