If we all accepted the same premises as true then we would all HAVE to come to the same logical conclusions. Logic is merely the set of rules that gets us from premise to conclusion. That's all.

Everyone that said that the first conclusion in the argument (everything is as it appears) is wrong, therefore the rest of the argument is wrong.
I am not arguing that the earth is flat, but that you cannot use logic to prove this statement.
