What do you think should be done with all the posts that are nothing but the listing of verses?
I think that unless someone specifically asked for verses the post should be deleted.

If they address the topic of the thread (or if they actually are the topic), or if the poster is trying to use them to demonstrate or validate a point, no problem.
Otherwise it's just proslytiseing.

I ignore them, because they are essentially useless.

I'd rather hear/read someone's opinion, rather than a book's opinion. Even if those opinions match, it's still nice to hear/read someone put in their own words to show that they do understand what they're saying.

IMO, like I say, it depends on the posters intention. Sometimes lists of verses are useful, sometimes they're even neccesary to the discussion.
Other times they're not, but even then they're useful in as much as they can give you peak into the posters psyche; This guy can't address the issue intellegently so he's going to bombard the thread and hope eveyone else will run for shelter. Someone just showed him a chink in his armour so he's trying to distance himself from any previous posts by making an insanely long post (or several) of his own (might as well have prefaced his list with "these are the bricks in my wall of denial") Someone momentarily snapped this guy out of his trance and he needs to re-hypnotize himself. Or it may just be a sneaky, if not too subtle form of proslytizing (which is just a way of saying "all of the above").

I wouldn't say it's always proselytizing though.

It is very easy to just ignore them if there is no opinion of said verses quoted, so I voted nothing.

I either ignore it or beat the poster senseless. Perhaps both.

Depends on what the OP is asking for. If they're looking for verses, it's perfectly valid. But I'm inclined to see it as no different than throwing out a bunch of quotes by famous people instead of adding what you think to a discussion.
