I use the word impossible all the time. Because some things just are impossible. Like, a circle with three pointy corners. That's just impossible. I also use it in joking a lot. Such as, "I just completed such-and-such". "No way! That's impossible!"

Impossible is an absolute. I think some things are possible now that used to be impossible, whilst others are now impossible that were once possible. Hence the term is meaningless except relative to a stagnant reality, which cannot exist as impermance is reality. I use the term for what I cannot conceive of personally. I am Buddhist.
