To those of you outside of the U.S., have you ever seen an American televangelist? I'm quite serious.

To answer the OP's question, my answer would be yes. Stem cell holds too much promise to leave the research untouched, thus someone is going to do it. I would much rather it wasn't one of the crazies.

I just saw an article this morning about using stem cells to find a cure for blindness. Wouldn't that be miraculous? Rather than playing god (if you believe in that sort of thing), maybe this is a case of using our god-given faculties to improve life for others.
