Are Some People "Old Souls"? (ritual, reincarnate, mission)

This ticks me off...my former girlfriend used to say I was a "new" soul.

Hee hee, there was a time when I used to work for a bedroom furniture company and I was talking to a client while emptying his waterbed. We talked for ages. I was 26 at the time and he was about 45. We hit it off really well. By the time I was finished with his bed and we had covered just about every topic under the sun, he says to me, "Gee's I wish I had your wisdom when I was your age. I can't believe you are so wise at such an early age." Made me feel good anyway..........
