Me was never really that comfortable at school. Though I was never bullied and I probably played truant just a couple of times in my entire schooling life.

Despite my reservations about my schooling, I think me is grateful for the time I spent there. my punctuation is like well good ain't it ? ..LOL........I was good at sports so I received a fair bit of kudos I suppose...

I think if me had the chance ...me would redo school.. (maybe)......unfortunately it's only with the benefit of hindsight that I can say that though.

High school was a very happy time because that's when I was able to experience what popularity was all about(was very well liked) as opposed to elementary and middle school which answers the next question.

Elementary and middle school was a very unhappy place, and this is when I attended a Catholic school go figure. I wasn't liked by most of the students in the class, I think because I was VERY shy, withdrawn and quiet. But that changed when highschool approached. I think being an only child had an impact on my shyness because I didn't have any younger role models to look up to.

Yes, in grade school I was bullied and many times afraid to go to school. People just loved picking on me because I was so quiet and I never said anything back, I just turned the other cheek if you will.

Highschool? Definitely.

I had a pretty hard time at school, being only 5ft tall now you can imagine i was alot smaller throughout school and was bullied because of this.
I was also taunted by jealous guys because i was never short of a girlfriend or two in high school and thus quite a few guys thought it appropriate to call me and my best friend gay (such nice people lol).
I do wish that i could re-do school and have concentrated on getting decent grades instead of trying to get (yet another) girlfriend!
As it happens when my family moved back to manchester i had to do the last year of school in an all boys school and because of that I got better grades then i would have done in the previous school!

no, i didn't think running from school was the right way to deal with it... though i was heavily tempted to.

heavily bullied - mostly verbal, threats, taunts - occasionally physical - once thrown into a trash can, pushed down corridors etc.

that's probably why you were lucky. for boys, if you were bad at sports, of you lacked competitive spirit, you were weak - weak equals victim, it's as simple as that.

if i could redo school after i have finished uni, with the same people i did the first time round, i would do... but only because i would join a gym, and kick the absolute stuffing out of about 35 people.

Not really. During middle school I was made fun of, a lot. Then once I hit high school I started suffering from some mental problems (depression, anxiety, panic attacks, etc.)

Was school an unhappy place ?
Often.

Did you ever play truant ?
I did in middle school, they had to put me in counseling for it.

Were you a bully ?...were you bullied ?...were you neither ?
I was bullied, but I survived.

If ewe had a chance to redo school, would ewe ?
Never.

I am sure your being an only child contibuted here to your lonliness and also perhaps in your difficulty in socially interacting with your peers.....of cousre..it ocud have just been a crap school and not for ewe.....but...it may have just been part of your special nature at that time to seem so resrved and unfortunately it is the quite ones who seem to be easy targets...

Kids are so cruel......we've all done it too....

It must have felt exteremley frustrating for you knowing there was nothing you could do about your stature.....but I am sooooooooooo delighted to read that your prowess with the girlies stood high and proud !!

I too wish wish I could redo to get better grades...for me...my insomnia ruined my education..I was a walking zombie most of the time...and like ewe...me prefereed to play with girlies anyway !!
