Are these signs of global warming?
![]() The ski resorts on mountains Igman and Bijelasnica near Sarajevo remain without snow although it is already December. Insufficient snowfall is keeping many ski resorts across southern Europe closed so far this season, the third lost season in the past five years. ![]() A lightning storm illuminates the sky above apartment highrises in the Bosnian city of Tuzla, where trees still sport green leaves and the average daily temperature in November was 17 degrees Celcius. Normally, Tuzla's temperature is closer to -8 degrees Celcius at this time of year. ![]() Fog and unusually warm weather has given Sarajevo, the Bosnian capital, a seemingly endless fall this year. Despite several snowstorms, the capital remains largely green and many residents are wondering if there will be a winter this year at all. ![]() Youth in the Bosnian town of Gradacac enjoy the unusually warm winter weather, which has given this region of central Bosnia temperatures more than 10 degrees above seasonal norms. Similar increases in average temperatures are being experienced across Europe, just months after one of the hottest summers on record.

It is not the reality of Global Warming that is the question, but rather the cause.

but we are too selfish and greedy to reallise the cause! It's only when it's too late that we will reallise.

The top news story in the UK is a small tornado that smashed an area in north London, seriously damaging about 150 houses:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/6217514.stm I do not know if it is due to global warming, but tornados hitting towns seems to be much less rare these days. Most of the trees have finally lost their leaves, but this is due to the gales rather than low temperatures. The climate is certainly hotting-up and getting livelier, and it seems likely that human activity is at least a contrubtory factor.

It's not that easy to demonstrate...there are other parts of the world that have snow much earlier than usual. We have to look at the whole picture and answer the questions "why?".
