If so, is the increased use of contraception the solution? What is the solution?

It seems that humans are stripping the world of resources at a non sustainable rate. Furthermore, it seems this will only increase as countries like China and India raise their standards of living. So, yes, I think there is overpopulation.
Contraceptives are certainly part of the solution. Unless you want to go with forced abortions?

Finding alternative resources to help sustain our populations. We're too narrow minded where we think only one type of resource will work and nothing else will. I'm sure there are plenty of options out there and that if we use all of them responsibly, we'll be more than able to support ourselves without draining anyone of them to any great extent.

I know it's like...what do we do!
Do you think it's only going to get worse, I do unfortunately as Sunstone said. Shouldn't we be concerned about these issues? Yes, but what to do?Last edited by Hacker; 11-17-2006 at 11:53 AM. |

http://home.clara.net/darvill/altenerg/index.htm Lets see where I can go with this. Someone throw something at me, like lets say metals or something, and I'll see what I can find as alternatives or alternative resources.

No need to worry about it. We can never overpopulate. The world will not sustain more of us than it is able to. Wars, diseases, and starvation will keep the herd in check.
