Go Vote = Win $1 million dollars?!?!?!
There is a man in Arizona, US that is pushing for a voters lottery. He has gotten a couple thousand signatures to pass a law that will put you into a lottery for a million dollars if you vote. The mans intention would be to eventually have trips and cars for prizes for voters. He says that this will spur people to be rewarded for doing their civic duty.
I personally have quite a strong opinion about that but I'd like to know what other poeple think before I say what I think about it. Heres an article if you want it (http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/arc...win_1_million/)

I think that by giving the incentive of the million dollars to vote, you are going to end up with a ton of voters that aren't exactally the kind of people you want to be electing the next sentor or president.
The same concept applies to people who botch surveys so they can get a free drink or a coupon or whatever.
