Quote:
I agree with heterosexuality being more common, rather than more "normal." However, it does make a bit more logical sense, and I'm saying this from the perspective of a gay man. Just wanted to throw that light on it. |

Can't say that I'm very impressed with the quote itself. Just sounds spiteful to me. No real meaning or insight. Actually wrong as well.
If she means normal in regards to occuring in a natural state than all variances of human sexuality is normal behavior. But if she refers to what follows an expected state than I would say that the she is wrong again for heterosexuality would be the norm of human sexuality. My question is this. Who really cares? All of human sexuality is "normal" or "natural". Even those acts that make the most liberal minded people turn their heads in disgust. As far as commonality what does it matter that heterosexual behavior is more common than homosexual behavior. I don't know. I find the quote actually rather pointless and uninspiring. |

Define noraml, there is no actual definition for it, heterosexual and homosexual are both natural things. Labeling someone that is heterosexual as normal and then saying that somebody that is homosexual is abnormal or unnatural is just wrong.
