Perceptions rating (morals, minority, homosexuals, America, atheist)

I read about a study that was done, and I couldn't find a thread that really answered my question here, but I wanted to find out for myself what ordinary people thought on the subject.

How would you rate different minority groups according to whether they "share the vision of American society"/"are seen as a threat to the American way of life"? Which of the following is the greatest threat? The least?

- Immigrants
- Homosexuals
- Blacks
- Atheists
- Muslims
- Jews
- Other non-Christian religions

I say neither, none, etc.... America is a melting pot of different ideas, cultures, and religions.

None of those groups are "a threat to the American way of life."

Muslims have really been causing problems in a lot of european nations (muslim immigration is much higher), especially Great Britain and France. I'm not even talking about terrorists but instead the Shari'a laws which are being self-imposed in a lot of these countries.

Of all those groups, the fundamentalist muslims seem to be the anti-thesis of american values. The subjegation of women especially clashes with american values of equality.

While a few studies have shown that people seem to have a severe bias against atheists (because, y'know, they have no morals, and eat all of the chocolate out of the neopolitian ice cream before anyone else can), I don't think any of the above groups is considered (or should be considered, at least) a threat to whatever the American way of life is.
