An exercise in telepathy...
...well sort of. I want to see if anyone shares my belief in the most valuable possession a (wo)man can possess. I'm not speaking of faith, nor spiritual enlightenment, I'm speaking of a very mundane and quantifiable possession. It is the gift granted me that meant no matter how little money I have in my pocket (sometimes none!!!), no matter how troubled life has been, I have always been or felt rich. No matter how alone I may have been, I have always been in company. I'm just wondering if anyone will know of what I speak immediately (i.e. they share the thought) or contrariwise what mundane possession makes people feel the same way?

Both good answers, and very valuable...but not what I was thinking about. This particular possession is far more mundane, quantifiable, and measurable...you'll kick yourself when I tell you.....

Like my Friend Feathers, empathy is what I believe I have been blessed with. The downside to that is that I often feel the pain of people around me (evensay, on a bus); if someone has physical pain or mental anguish, I usually feel it.
And I have checked on a few occasions (when I have felt brave enogh to do so)
