I trust various people in various ways. To take a trivial example: I trust my postman to bring me junk mail regardless of rain or shine or dark of night. As for myself, I trust myself about some things and not about others. I wouldn't trust myself to successfully repair a car, or perform non-lethal open heart surgery, for instance, but I do trust myself to adeptly order a pizza for delivery. So, I tend not to have blanket trusts, but rather specific ones.
