Okay, I was in a bathroom stall, and on one wall it said KKK, and on the other wall it said NYFD (as in New York Fire Department) is #1 with a picture of a Twin Towers above it. Then somone tried to scratch out the KKK thing. So, I know that legally they will all get the same punishment, but morally, who should get the most punishment, the KKK person, the one who scratched it out, or the Twin Towers person? Who should have the least?

Sorry, but I see this example as a freedom of speech issue. Barring punishment for vandalism of public property via the graffiti, I don't see a crime being commited morally or otherwise.

This is why i firmly believe that muzak should be deafiningly blasted through public washrooms. Crapping is too condusive to thinking, and some people really shouldn't think very much.

Legally... they deserve the same punishment. All that hatred will return to kick the racist in the ___... sooner, I hope, than later.

They're there. You just don't want to see them.

Presuming none of the bathroom artwork was commissioned
, I think the person who scratched out KKK deserves the least. After all, that guy was trying to 'undo' the vandalism. As for the KKK artist, for all we know, that could have been some wise-acre kid trying to get a rise out of people. Maybe he's heard of the klan but never donned a white sheet. As for the NYPD/Twin Towers effort...even it was well drawn, a bathroom stall is not the appropriate place for such a tribute. btw...I didn't think anyone actually read the graffiti anyway.
