Default Homosexuality

I try to put myself in other people's shoes as often as I can. And the group I often do so is homosexuals. They way I do this is.... well you see I believe in the theory of multiple worlds or parallel universes where everything but the place and time is different (but I digress). I try to envision a world where it was not OK to be heterosexual and heterosexuals were discriminated against. I try to imagine where being homosexual was the norm and being straight was looked down upon. For those are homophobic (which is nobody here I gather) I use this argument. They usually stay quiet.

What do you think of this argument? Does it have merit?

I think that building understanding should come naturally to those who would preach love, and is respectable.

That's what mating seasons are for, my dear. Only the mentally disturbed abuse themselves with the opposite sex outside of mating season. Everybody know that!

Please do.

This is a good route, I think, in the path to compassion.

Does that make you "light in the loafers"? Do you keep your gay shoes "in the closet"?
