Crazy is not hearing voices. It is not experiencing hallucinations. It is not exhibiting paranoia.
Crazy, as I would put it, is someone who claims to be in a sound frame of mind and believes that some entity that they have never physically heard or seen helps them pay the rent, heals their illness or hooks them up while other people starving to death pray to live and don't! |

Literal Vision
I have been following this thread from the beginning, and am very hesitant to get involved with this topic. You have done the right thing by calling upon God to tell these demons to leave your home. We can ask these demons to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, and by his power and authority they have to leave. Not only cats, but much heavier objects have been lifted by the powers of Satan and his demons. I have experienced the power of Satan and his demons, but they are no match for the awesome power of God, when we call upon him in the name of Jesus Christ. Demons flee when we mention Jesus Christ's name, also they cannot stand the sound of a good Christian song. Play Christian music and demons flee immediately. The LDS church advises it's members to bless their homes, apartments, etc. before, or soon after they move in. Say a blessing on your home, and ask God to put angels round about your home, as guards against Satan and his evil demons. It really works, and keep doing it as often as you need to. Pray without ceasing, for Satan and his demons never sleep. I know the feelings that come after dealing with Satan and his demons, they hate Christians like us. For one things, folks, a few apparently unharmful hallucinations do not make a person insane. In fact, the very definition of sanity, in my opinion, is being able to continue thinking and behaving rationally in spite of such quirks of the mind. Whether or not you actually believe in demons and spirits and suchlike, I think that this is a truth. LV, the best advice that I can give you besides checking yourself out with a doctor is to 1) find a way to relax yourself before you go to bed because it might help a little (sheesh, you're a Christian: pray if it helps bring down your stress levels), and 2) abstain from alcohol for a while to keep from worsening a possible epileptic condition. This is the same advice that I gave at the beginning of my participation of the thread, and I am returning to it because I really think it's good advice under the circumstances. |

Yes, I have.
This past Thanksgiving, I was in Tennesse, spending Turkey day with the in laws. My mother in law has Parkinson's Disease and was going through a severe bout of ill health and depression due to her illness. She is normally a woman of sound faith but had really been struggling and doubting God. I spent MUCH of that holiday in deep prayer, meditation and praise...witnessing to her...laying hands on her...I had my nose stuck in a bible and my heart set on helping her to feel spiritually at peace. One day, I was leaving the upstairs guest room with my daughter in tow and I literally felt myself being pushed down a flight of stairs. I was terrified, as my daughter was just 12 months old at the time...I prayed in mid flight that I wouldn't fall hard on HER...and just as something unseen had pushed me...something unseen also caught me as I was hitting the hard wood floor below...I was able in mid flight to turn...so that my daughter was unharmed. I wish I could say that I simply tripped over my own two feet. I slipped but I slipped as a result of a force BEHIND me. There's no doubt in my MIND...that there was something unpleasant and possibly evil in that house and it was obviously unhappy about the spiritual progress that my mother in law and I were making. My foot STILL bothers me. I fell HARD on my left foot but Ruthie was just fine.
