What are you proud of achieving ?

I know we have a lot of young members, but I am sure you will still have things you can feel pride in having achieved ........... So, what have you achieved ?

Me ?.........probably having managed to pass myself off as a reasonably sane Father, husband and employee for just the amount of time for which it was necessary. I still don't quite know how I achieved it.
(well, maybe with a little help from my friends; mostly in bottles and cans......

Teaching myself how play guitar at age 16. I've never had a single lesson in my life and I'm pretty damn good ta boot.

This is a tough one for me because I am very critical of myself, so anything I do I see as a failure. But, I would have to say that I am proud of myself for not being involved in sex, drugs, or drinking (like so many kids my age do) and just focusing on my future life.

My ability to listen to 12+ hours of music a day is pretty damn extaordinary

Michel, you seemed to have accomplished alot in your profession from when you were employed in your previous career. You didn't bring that up. I am proud of my college degree. It took 5 years and I saw many people not be able to achieve one. My martial arts knowledge. That is harder to qualify but I am proud of what is in my head, of how much technical information I have. I ran a thread with others about technical aspects of the arts on RF here:

I am proud of the volume of fiction (mostly poetry) I have written thus far. Though I have never published any of it.

I had a friend who did the same thing.....what do I mean "a" friend ?.the only friend I have ever had

The reason that I didn't bring my career up is because I hated it so. The one and only friend I have ever had (who played the guitar) taught me how to find a large pile of paper, tuck it under the right arm, pencil in the other hand, and go rushing about the office muttering an account number under my breath.......he once got away with doing that for two whole days...........

A college degree ?
