We needed a study for this?

OHHHHH, i thought nothing was correct without empirical evidence! OHHHHH, how wrong am I?
The funny thing is, i haven't been smacked for ten years, never by my mom, and I am way more agressive than anyone else. |

'For 10 years' meaning you'd been smacked before?
Funny, guess that proves the study right in your case... ![]() |

There are always a few outliers.
Also, how is that not empirical evidence- it was scienctificly-based research. O.o

it seems you do not understand, Jensa said why did it need a study, but i said that there was no empirical evidence, so it means it must be false (a commonly used argument)

It's common sense if you beat the snot out of someone that messes them up.
It's the same for smacking children.

Fits in with me perfectly. I am living proof that smacking harms children, that these effects are long term and that this can happen even if the smacks were intended for the best of reasons by loving parents.
Edit: The study suggests a link between aggressive behaviour and smacking. It does not suggest no relationship between aggressive behaviour and other likely causes. Please do not confuse the two.
