Is it bad form to make fun of male pattern baldness?

Specifically, woul it be bad form to tell a dear friend that this comic reminds you of him? and laugh.

There is nothing wrong with that, unless your friend is a girl, but you said "male" so there is nothing wrong with it.

Our cultural designers hate baldness. What is really wrong with it? I have no clue.

The only thing I find distasteful about baldness is when people try to cover it up.

The Old Testament tells a story of about forty kids who made fun of a bald prophet for being bald. The prophet cursed them in God's name. A couple of she-bears came out of the wilderness and mauled them all.

So the Bible says it's bad form!

It all depends on your firend - does he have a sense of humor about his hair (and about himself)?

If there is any doubt whatsoever, you risk offending him..........but at the same time you never know. He might laugh it off, and never tell you even if he was hurt.

I have learned that when someone doesn't understand that you are joking, you need to give him a little slap on the back of his head and say "It's a joke you silly"..
If he does not get that, repeat step one.. Eventually, they all crack..

In this case, it's even better as the person is bound to be bold. The little slap will give a nice *tats* sound with it

Im growing my hair while i can, i think i'm one of the 1 in 2 males who will be bald. Right not my hair goes half way down my back
I used to make fun of my dad who is bald, then he came up with the reply "like father, like son," its really quite scarey.
