I suppose we all have items of clothing that we hate wear, so lets hear what your's are.
Ties Why? what purpose doe they serve?
Suits. must be the most pretentious article of clothing around
PJs PJs should be left at the end of the bed , in case of fire

But while we're on the subject, let's take it one step further and complain about cruel garments...and shoes. Ever own a pair of cruel shoes?

My most annoying are....Golf gloves, my god, they are little pieces of leather used for less grip when its purpose is for more....

I have always hated the idea of dresses or skirts.

I agree with the ties and suits. So much to the point, I have never worn either, and do not plan on it any time soon. Especially ties. Whoever decided they was a sign of power and wealth was sorely mistaken. As for suits, I see no valid reason to spend so much money on an article of clothing, and really can't stand the idea of renting clothes. Not too mention they represent various classes of citizens, of which I am proudly not a member of any of them.
And while I'm at it, shoes for every cause and occasion ever known to man. Shoes for various sports are a necessity, such as wrestling shoes for enhanced traction and ankle support, but I do not see any reason to spend a ton of money of a pair of gawd awful uncomfortable 'dress' shoes. I also see penny loafers as a big waste. Myself, I have one pair of all occasion shoes, one pair of wrestling shoes, one pair of bowling shoes, one pair of combat boots, and two pairs of wrestling boots. And I have gotten by with just that for many years.
Pants are another thing I hate. Especially the ones with a metal clasp and button on the inside. I had a pair like that for a previous job, and never bothered with the button. I was assured of what I already had known for years, that denim jeans are much more durable and much more comfortable.
Dress socks. I strongly feel that 'dress socks' are a mere marketing ploy by some designer label who are desperately trying squeeze every last dollar out of the consumers pocket.
Belts. This one is a toss up. Sometimes it can be used as an accessory to add to the sexiness of an outfit. However, the unwritten rules on wearing belts are a waste. If my jeans are not in any apparent danger of falling, then why should I spend extra money on something that hardly anyone will notice.
PJs. WHY?!?!? I do not feel special clothing is necessary for sleeping in. Especially if the just end up being thrown on the floor. When I am a guest at someones house and spending the night, I have found nothing uncomfortable about sleeping in normal clothes.
Layered shirts. This one I have never understood why. It just seems rather pointless to me.

There is a Men's clothing/suit department store in Indianapolis, and at the end of there commercials they claim "You're gonna love the way you look, we guarantee it." I have thought about going down there, and when they cannot dress me in a pair of relaxed fit black Wranglers and a Pantera shirt with a picture of a marijuana leaf, complain that I hate they way I look, and they should change their commercial before someone sues for false advertisement.

The only good thing I can think of is tying your partner to the bedpost with them. No chaffing.

I don't know if I agree totally with this one. I've turned my head to look at many fine looking men walking by in a nice fitting, well made suit. At least they're good for looking at.

I would love to never, ever have to wear a coat or shoes again. I really dislike both. And thongs....whoever invented thongs for women should be sent to prison. Most uncomfortable garment ever. Ugh.

Hate turtle necks and anything fuzzy, like wool shirts.
