It just occured to me as I was switching my signature, that we don't have a proper graveyard in which to inter our old, worn out signatures! A forum this size just has to have a proper graveyard for the disposal of old signatures, or we'll soon be up to our eyebrows in sig corpses!
This this thread was started, for people to drop of their old beloved sig before adopting a new one. This way you can visit, leave flowers, introduce your new sig to your old one, etc. Sadly, many of my old sigs have now decomposed (i.e. been forgotten) such that I have only the one recently dead sig, barely entering rigor lexicus, to inter here. If I can scrounge up enough of the others, I might start a cenotaph for them. Quote:
Tell all your friends! If you admire their signature, don't let them throw it out into the dustbin! Let them know that room has been secured for the interment and commemoration of our beloved signatures!

I love your old sig, Deep Shadow! It was truly an LDS classic.

Thank you! I found it in a Pat Bagley cartoon collection in the mission field, and it stuck with me. Several of my friends have challenged me to actually begin a testimony that way, but I won't.
I really find that it expresses more of what I feel to be the silliness of Mormon Intellectualism. That joke and OSC's "The Coming of the Nonmembers" are great ones for keeping me humble.Anyone else have an old signature to memorialize?

I'm so glad to see this. I wasn't able to properly say "good-bye" to my old sig:
The book version of Faramir was much hotter Fare thee well, old friend. *waves* Peace, Mystic |
