ok, this is how the fight scenes will work. you decide what your character will do, step by step. you post the first step like normal: *Mike jumps over to the other ship, fireball in one hand and sword in the other. as he parries one swordsman he throws the fireball at another."

then i will post a response to your action: You parry the first sword and you kill the second swordsman, but the first comes back in and engages you further.

you then respond in turn with something like: "Mike parries again, ducks, and rolls to the side out of the swordsman's reach, pulls a knife out and throws it at the swordsman."

again, i will respond with something like: "the knife buries itself in the swordsman's right shoulder, he stammers backwards, pulls the knife out, and throws it back at you." It will hit you or not depending upon your reaction skills.

that's basically how i intend to do the battles and fights, and i can reply to each member as they post so no one is running ahead of anyone else, although i suspect it will take a while because i'm not on for the rest of today

I think I've killed more than my share already, so I'm going to step back and let everyone else kill for now.

I'm the only character onboard the enemy ship, so i've done my share of killing, gotta leave some for the other members!

exactly why i want to do it this way... because this way we don't get anyone running ahead of everyone else who isn't online. yes it will take a lot longer, but it's better to share the killing

I was half tempted to put:
*Mesty starts selling popcorn to the crew as they watch Vraay, Zayl, and the Captain decimate the enemy ship*

I calculated at least forty enemy dead, including three of the enemy captains body guards.
I agree with Mike182 that even though it will take longer, it will definitely help with the storyline, especially if there are some specifics that are supposed to happen during a battle and every enemy is killed before he has a chance to present it.
