Tokyo has had sleeping capsules for a long time. This "hotel" seems to be just a luxury version of it.
I think it's great -- we should have these in the US, but, then, I'm a claustrophile. When I travel I usually take a (cara)van or covered pickup truck where I sleep. I refuse to pay more per night for a hotel room than I would for the same period at home. |

I love the idea of those things! A friend of mine who's teaching in Japan stayed in one and sent pictures. It's so "Fifth Element."
