I really must learn to go about with a notebook and a pen............
I often think of good questions, topics, while going about doing my chores, only to forget them by the time I get to a computer. So when do you get your ideas ? Do you think "Hey that would be a great topic"...and remember to post it, or do you forget them all, as I do?

Most of my ideas seem inspired by reading posts in other threads. Something will catch my attention, I'll give it a little thought, and one thing leads to another.

Most of mine are inspired by pretty pictures.
Hahaha, kidding! No, really, I'm kidding. If any of you says anything, I'll beat you silly. I go find the pictures after I come up with the idea. I just like things to look nice. Most of my threads are inspired by... questions. Usually it's the news, or something someone says in passing, or something that catches the corner of my eye - and I just want to explore it, so I share it here and see what people have to say. That's why some of it is very frivolous, it's just a random thought that I wanted to get people's opinions on.

"Why does Michel filet questions like a fishmonger filets fish?"
You don't get it, do you? ![]() You ask multiple questions, instead of just one. You remind me of a friend of mine who does the same thing. I can ask alot of questions but the rules here keep me out of certain forums where the questions would apply. I base my thread ideas to challenge what people believe in. Because it needs to be challenged. And tested. x

Yes, but I often can't reply to the ones that are ongoing in other forums.

Many of the times,it's a topic that I just happen to think about, and if it's compelling enough for me to express it, I'll post it.

Usually my threads are inspired by everyday life, the news and whatever I happen to be reading and researching at the moment. I will come up with threads in the middle of the night and then spend the next hour debating whether I should toss on the bathrobe and post it or just hope I remember it by the morning. I really need to start keeping a notebook by the bed.
