Bosnian tourism brochure:
English version: And actually only few places in the whole world of that can boast that they have a catholic church, an orthodox church, mosque and synagogue which are removed only one little walk of each other. If there should be a city in Europe the absolutely easily waistcoats and the east connects with each other, then it is Sarajevo. Here the Byzantine and Ottomanic empire of the east as well as Roman, Venetian and Austro-Hungarian empire of the west leave her tracks on culture, tradition and religion. A walk by Sarajevo shows, actually, the walk with the history of the city. Actual meaning: Indeed, few places on earth feature an Orthodox and a Catholic church, a mosque and a synagogue within easy walking distance of each other. If there were any city in Europe that effortlessly straddles east and west, it is Sarajevo. Here the Byzantine and Ottoman empires of the east and the Roman, Venetian and Austro-Hungarian empires of the west left an indelible mark through culture, traditions and religions. A walk through Sarajevo is a walk through its past.
