I doista, samo nekoliko mjesta na kugli zemaljskoj se može pohvaliti sa katoličkom i pravoslavnom crkvom i džamijom i sinagogom koje su udaljene tek jednu laganu šetnju jedna od druge. Ako postoji grad u Evropi koji bez imalo muke spaja istok i zapad onda je to Sarajevo. Ovdje su Bizantinsko i Otomansko carstvo istoka te Rimsko, Venecijansko i Austrougarsko sa zapada, ostavili neizbrisive tragove na kulturu, tradiciju i religiju. Šetnja Sarajevom predstavlja ustvari šetnju kroz njegovu historiju.

English version:
And actually only few places in the whole world of that can boast that they have a catholic church, an orthodox church, mosque and synagogue which are removed only one little walk of each other. Here the Byzantine and Ottoman empires of the east and the Roman, Venetian and Austro-Hungarian empires of the west left an indelible mark through culture, traditions and religions. A walk through Sarajevo is a walk through its past.
