Sometimes in the face of grief it is always good to remember the importance of the times that we shared with someone, it keeps the spirit of one alive and defeats the concept that a person has ever left us. Retrorich was a regular on RF. He was here when I registered and was a regular poster right up until the time he passed. Everyone has been effected by Retrorich in some way, whether it is through his humor, his debating style or talking with him in the chat room or just sending or receiving a PM to say hello. So if you have a moment that you fondly remember about Retrorich, please, post your thoughts and memories to share with everyone.

One of the many things I always appreciated about Retrorich was that we shared a common love for the same music.

I just loved his title. I laughed everytime I saw it: Super Not-a-Mod.

I loved his affinity for Gandhi. He wrote about his seeing the movie here:
"Gandhi" The Movie How awful he felt after hitting a squirrel I feel terrible! and his playing God thread: Today, I played God. |

Rich walks into a bar with a chicken on his head.
The bartender asks "Where'd you get that?" The chicken says "Ohio!" ![]() Some would sign into NewBeetle chat and ask a car related question, and Rich would respond "Enough about Jettas." ![]() When I met in Berea last summer, he, Joan, another Beetle friend, & I went to a wonderful Italian place. When the check came, I reached for it to figure out how much I needed to pay and Rich practically jumped across the table to grab it away from me because he insisted on paying. I didn't want to cause a scene by fighting him for it. What a great guy. ![]()

Also, when he won a $30 Guitar Center gift certificate in a KMA contest, he gave it to me since he had no use for it. That was really cool of him. |

He was very generous with the frubals. I appreciated how giving he was, and his tremendous sense of humor.
