I loved the murder mystery! The time and talent you'd put into it was obvious, and it really seemed to lend itself to good role-playing.
What do you envision a more adventurous one as? I'd love to do another murder mystery!

The story begins two years later with one of the character's continuous nightmares, where he is standing outside late at night, and sees Tammy's decayed body staring back at him from the edge of the forest: "Her body is a pale green and beige color, the skin desiccated and leathery, and her head masked with dried blood. She was standing far off, along the edge of the thicket. Although she was far, he intuitively felt her gaze. Her eyes penetrated his mind and body, overcoming him with utter terror. He could feel something inside of him screaming, as his heart raced and soul trembled." But I won't reveal anymore. The story is actually much more interesting and detailed, but I left all the good stuff out. This game will act and unfold more like a horror story, but still have strong elements of mystery. One of the players will get to play as Tammy, and can possess any of the other players for a period of time. Generally the next game (if I do one) will be much more detailed, well written, and have many more elements to the story. Also, I was thinking about something more adventerous, a time not to far into the future were mankind develops the technology to dive deep into the earth's oceans. This story has to do with the discovery of Atlantis. I'm in the progress of writing a children's novel, called the "Amulet of Dreams" (kinda harry potterish), and these kids discover an ancient egyptian amulet in the library of an archeoligist's estate. The amulet captures your dreams and recreates them into a dream world. I could use this story line. Another novel in progress, this one is sci fi. Basically scientists figure out a way to travel into the future using gravitational time dialation. A team of scientists build a platform in space, which is capable of generating powerful gravity wells. Within the center of the gravity well/field, seconds slow down to nanoseconds, creating an effect called gravitational time dilation. A team of experts is formed to enter the platform before a well is generated. For inside observers, the process will take a couple of seconds, from the initial firing to the collapse of the gravity well. For outside observers, the team will appear to be stuck in suspended animation for a millenia. Using an artificial gravity well, the team will travel into a distant future. A satellite will orbit the platform. Information will be transmitted to the satellite and stored in a data capsule for the following years to come. Their job is to recover the data capsule, observe earth and its conditions without contacting future inhabitants, then travel back to the present with the capsule containing chronological data of all the future events to come. When they “awaken”, there are no satellites or data capsules. Earth is no longer recognizable. They appear to have “jumped” farther into the future than what was planned. The oddest thing is that earth has absolutely no inhabitants, despite the earth still being in a fairly habitable condition that does not appear to be post apocalyptic. It’s like the inhabitants just packed up and left. They find things such as gigantic orbital solar shades, things that showed there was a huge attempt to counterbalance global warming effects. The team decides to land on earth and investigate, despite the risks of contact. And that’s where all hell breaks lose. They find one of the team member’s bodies, which had been partially consumed. They return, and the body has been moved. Something is stalking them. One of the members freak out and starts firing, as a sort of attempt to ward whatever it was off... Maybe something filled with fantasy more like FFXII?

Darn my real life! I wanna play! Better yet, I wanna host! I've done real-life CSI drama, I've written for roleplaying books, netbooks and more. I've got lots of ideas, including some actual RPG's I need playtested, but I just can't post consistently. Any way I can help you guys brainstorm or something?

Wasn't participating in any of those, but read along with the Mafia and Murder mystery, particularly with the murder mystery! Feathers... you make the perfect journalist.
![]() Would be interested in either of those again... but beware. I play dirty... just ask the mods ![]()

I'm up for anything. I'm just afraid my reputation will proceed me in anything I do and I will be the first dead
. I'm home all day everyday so I can always keep up with whatever. I'm just not up for hosting another one quite yet. Maybe after a few more games I'll try hosting another.Your suggestions sound great so far Cynic.
