I was looking forward all day to trying a Choco Taco at Taco Bell tonight when my son and I went out. Much to my disappointment, they aren't selling them anymore. I wonder if it's a summertime thing. I settled for just a cheese quesadilla.

I had a couple of burritos... they returned. So my beloved made me a pair of quesadillas and with a side of Italian dressing. It was the closest thing to a proper wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, black olives, green peppers.... *Sniff*

Hehehe, a banana actually sounds good right now, but unfortunately we don't have any...they go bad so fast!!

Hmmm... it might also be a regional thing. I used to get them in New York but haven't tried to in DC. They're not made by Taco Bell. I think they're actually made by Good Humor or Klondike or some other well known ice cream novelty company. Anyway, choco tacos are ice cream tacos! The shell is made out of sugar cone. It's filled with vanilla ice cream and then the whole thing is dipped in that weird fake chocolate and then covered in chopped peanuts. yum yum.

To be honest Taco Bell is not my favorite "Mexican" fast food place so it's been a while since I've been. I'm sure that it's different in different parts of the country but in the places that I've lived there are just so many great family owned burrito joints and taco trucks.
