Sarajevo's hideous Holiday Inn is finally getting a make-over. It was built in the 1980s when Sarajevo hosted the Olympic Games and it's tied with Warsaw's Public Library as the Most Hideous Communist Landmark in Europe every year since...


Now, it's still not the best. But you have to admit, it's a big improvement. By the end of the summer of 2007, it's going to look like this...

Yes, it is really gross. It's right at the centre of the new part of town, just before you get to the old town, which is so annoying.

I only have this photos from the war, hahaha - it looks much different now, but just to explain it's location.
