Sarajevo's hideous Holiday Inn is finally getting a make-over. It was built in the 1980s when Sarajevo hosted the Olympic Games and it's tied with Warsaw's Public Library as the Most Hideous Communist Landmark in Europe every year since...

OMG, it looks like a building made out of Legos! And not just that, but demented 1970s colored Legos!

Yes, it is really gross. It's right at the centre of the new part of town, just before you get to the old town, which is so annoying.
I only have this photos from the war, hahaha - it looks much different now, but just to explain it's location. ![]() That's the building there, you see, the yellow one. Now you turn around, and just here is the entrance to Old Town: ![]()
