My 4 year old keeps repeatedly saying that "Jesus is coming!" (prophet, experience)

Hi,
I think this is funny, firstly, I asked my husband if there was any religious channels on today after my daugher claimed this, and he said no(mind you, that would never happen with him anyway). Well, when I came home, my daughter said "Hey mom, Jesus is coming." I laughed and said, "Really? How do you know?" She goes, "I just know mom, he died but now he's coming back." I said "When?" And she said, "Soon mom."Now mind you, the only thing she knows about Jesus is the cross in our house, she once asked me as a younger child(maybe 2)what that statue was and I told her Jesus and that's IT! She keeps saying it off and on ever since I came in the house, has anyone ever experienced such a similar situation with a child? OH, and I also asked, "Who is Jesus?" (to see WHAT she knew), and she goes, "Jesus is God mom."(in a voice as if I should know that already, LOL). Like I said, I know she doesn't learn this in preschool, and I don't see why she wouldn't tell me who told her this, she just says, "She knows."lol

I think little children have more of a connection with the divine then most adults.

It is interesting how a four-year-old can pick up on something and make it sound surreal or prophetic. Happened a lot when my older daughter was four.

Really, could you give me some examples? I did read (like Becky said) about children could be somehow more conncected to the divine, what suprises me is that she's so fixated on Jesus(today), I've read about children's ability to see other spirits very readily, but to talk about Jesus? I thought it was kinda odd, because I think she would tell me who she heard that from, I'm wondering if it was from a dream, or what?

I'd say as long as she's not upset about it or doesn't get all freaky thinking she needs to save everyone....it's fine. Maybe she heard it somewhere and thinks it's simply good news to share.

I have no doubt that little children can remember Jesus, and that they know that He is their saviour. Some are more in tune at times then others.

Maybe she suddenly remember Him?

I asked her if she heard that from anyone and she said "no" and I said "how do you know" and she said, "I just know."lol I think it's so cute and so funny, but it's making me wonder. Maybe she did hear it and doesn't want to tell me who told her, but that isn't like her, if one of her friends at school would tell her something she would say, "Ava said...bla bla bla." But then again who knows.

I know that's what I was thinking, I'm gonna keep trying to get it out of her, she just keeps saying, "I just know mom."

My niece, Zorjana, is especially religious. She's always lecturing me, even when she was a very young girl.

"Why don't you wear a hijab, Mila?"
"But I do, Zorjana. I always wear one when I go to mosque."
"Well... you don't go nearly enough."
