What is even more hilarious is that the elephant page on wikipedia had to be locked due to excessive vandalism from people who saw the show and tried to exaggerate the number of elephants in Africa.

Are you sure they didn't lock it beforehand? Colbert's prod. mgr. might've gave them a heads up.

We were sitting there last night watching it and immediately though: ohmigawd! Now everyone's going to trash the elephant page!

The moment he mentioned "Wikiality" I pulled up that page to see if was already there and sure enough, it was. 15 minutes my eye. I think they did a bit of preplanning on this one.
