Might be a stupid question, but can you guys in The States receive BBC television ?
The only reason I ask is because there is a fantastic series on the timeline of Earth, with reconstructions of animals (incredibly well made), so as to make it look as though the viewer is actually going back in time.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it on my cable, but I'm not sure what channel. What is the program called?

Documentary
Walking with Monsters - Life before Dinosaurs 8:30pm - 9:00pm BBC1 London & South East VIDEO Plus+: 8175 Subtitled, Widescreen, Audio-described 1/3 We're almost blasé now about seeing re-creations of everyday life among dinosaurs. But what was the natural world like before dinosaurs? Here's another of those extraordinary computer-animated series to show us, with an eye-popping look at early prehistoric nature, red in tooth and pixel. So we come face to face with the first fish, the first amphibians, some mean-looking crab-scorpions and a squid the length of a truck. They're all lovingly rendered in scary detail, along with a sonorous voice-over from Kenneth Branagh to add a touch of melodrama. It's engrossing, informative and at times rather beautiful. I get BBC America, but I don't watch it anymore now that Cracker isn't now any longer.

BBC America... My wife thinks it sucks. Just a water downed version. BBC news, Ground force, (Charlie and her bra-less adventures), House invaders, Benny Hill, cash in the attic, Bargain Hunt, Changing Rooms and Monty Python keeps getting repeated all day.

Let me add this. We get 'Eastenders', which is a BBC soap, but on dish pay-per-view. $9.99 a month. They play one weeks' worth of shows on Sunday, then repeat them all day long on Thursday. Rebecca is wrapped up in it as I type!

Can't you also get BBC international in America? Or do they just call BBC international, BBC America in America?
